About Us

Verila Lubricants AD inherits part of the chemical plant established in 1945, near Sofia, in Bulgaria, specialized in the production of lubricating greases. While the present infrastructure has little to do with the past factory’s technology and equipment, the development of high-performance greases and the experienced personnel are essential assets contributing to the success of the present Verila. Since 2007, after Prista Oil Holding acquired the majority stake of the shares, several waves of multimillion-Euro investments brought Verila Lubricants AD a completely new laboratory, automated packaging equipment, high performance grease deaeration unit, numerous high efficiency machinery which gave an important boost to the production capabilities as well as a significant increase in the efficient utilization of energy. 

Verila Lubricants AD produces a large variety of lubricating greases with flexibility in terms of batch sizes and fine tuned performance levels and grease colors, aligned with the requirements of the customers. Over 90% of the production is for private label customers, and so there are little efforts in increasing the visibility of the Verila branded greases on the market. We are proud to serve demanding, reputable companies, supporting them in their efforts of having strong and rationalized portfolios of greases, utilizable for a vast range of applications.

We aim to meet and exceed the quality requirements of our customers in terms of our products’ performance, as well as promptness and adequate commercial service, highly skilled technical support service and flexibility in setting minimum order sizes. In Verila Lubricants AD we have a culture of rewarding initiative, in a participation-rewarding work environment. We take pride in the fact that the majority of the workforce in Verila Lubricants AD is female. The experience and steadiness of our colleagues is one of the most valuable assets of our company. Many of our employees have more than 20 years of work experience in this factory, and we carefully maintain appreciation for their valuable expertise.
